Women among women

This company/school/movement/whatever you want to call it has been burning a hole in my brain for as long as I can remember.  I have been troubled by, hurt deeply, shocked, healed and now feel passionately about women’s relationships with women since I was a young girl.  The #metoo movement has led me to believe that now is the right time to execute it.

In life, I have found that the more I love myself, the more I am able to love others.  When I love/respect/seek to understand others instead of obsessing about my rightness and throwing blame, I find compassion, forgiveness and peace of mind.  Time and time again, I have also found that when I seek the humanity in others, they begin to act more humane.  We all learned how to be somewhere.  We can all learn how to be different somewhere new now.  Love does hold others accountable. Love isn't always "nice."  I am simply speaking to the dire need for an undoing of hatred and an opportunity for unity.  Maybe I'm insane but I assume we are all mostly doing the best we can with the tools we have, or don't have.

The systems we find ourselves in, we have all signed off on, consciously or unconsciously.  The abusers, violators, oppressors are all the most "wrong" obviously, but we need to make sure we have done the work in ourselves to not allow it anymore, even the smallest ways.  One of the most significant ways I see us sell out on ourselves as women, is judging and hating each other.  As I see it, we cause ourselves and our peers such unbearable suffering when we buy into the lie that we are in competition with each other.  THIS HAS TO STOP.

Miraculously, I have found friends that feel the same way.

We are women whose main concern and hopefully life's work will be putting an end to the cruelty and violence between women.

Many of us were bullied as children by other girls.  Many of us adapted by our teen years to become the bully or use gossip to backstab our "friends" and position for power.  We didn't realize this power was an illusion, that we were hurting in an effort to protect ourselves.  These systems are so common among young girls, it's heart breaking.  They grew out of delusional values.  Values that aren't ours.

WE are learning more and more every day about how to let go of what doesn't serve us and live connected and joyful with each other.

WE are women who have journeyed out of mental and emotional (sometimes physical) hells, to now live free.

WE see such a bright future for US ALL.

WE can't wait to meet you.

Love,

Charlie B and friends
